I Love Sushi - Table reservation

This long-time Denton sushi joint has the sweetest owners and some of the best sushi rolls in town. We’ve been going here for years, it’s no wonder they know us by name when we walk in the door. Here’s a few things we love ordering: Tokyo Tower: Spicy tuna, crabmeat, avocado rice w/ tobico Tempura California Roll: Deep fried california roll with a teriyaki sauce drizzle. Delicious and cheap! Tiger Roll: Shrimp tempura roll topped w/ cooked shrimp avocado Dinner Combinations (pictured is the seafood teriyaki) Other good picks not pictured: Sunrise Roll: Shrimp tempura roll topped w/ crabmeat Spider Roll: Deep fried soft shell crab roll Firecracker Roll: Shrimp tempura roll topped w/ spicy tuna Cactus Dragon Roll: Shrimp tempura roll topped w/ eel avocado Clearly I’m a shrimp tempura gal.

Nobody wants to pay to go out to a restaurant to witness the owner to loudly (in front of everyone dining) call a wonderful waitress that’s worked there for five years and always waited our table a “****” for wearing too much makeup and then have the unprofessionalism to have a total meltdown when the waitress walked out in disgust for the way she had been treated. We will NEVER eat there again and anyone reading this review that’s ever had a bully for a boss once in their life should take their business somewhere else, there’s plenty of good sushi places in Denton that don’t make a humiliating spectacle of mistreating their staff!

We had a LOVELY time this Saturday afternoon with our server, I unfortunately forget her name and forgot to ask again, but she was so pleasant. Very helpful, attentive, bubbly and had no issue explaining their vast menu items to us! Geisha roll special was phenomenal as well as the sexy roll was very light and refreshing. 3 appetizers, 3 rolls and 2 drinks for $60 for a very hungry couple I consider a phenomenal deal! Even better deals for lunch M-F before 3pm. Go check them out!

I have been to this sushi place for many years. I always love coming here! The staff is so friendly and come to your table often to answer questions and refill your drinks. The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming with wonderful decorations! Our food comes without a long wait time and it’s always been flavorful and fresh. Sometimes the shrimp tempura is not consistent but nothing too serious. As far as Texas sushi places go, this one is top notch.

Great food, the staff was amazing. Volcano roll was amazing, also got the Hiroshima roll, Cajun roll, and zigzag roll all were amazing. There fried rice was top notch as well
