My girlfriend and I had enjoyed a great round at Eagle Ridge Golf Club and decided to give this place a try based on a friend's recommendation. Upon finding this unassuming place in a strip mall, we were somewhat taken aback, but figured, it's all about the food. Entry was similarly underwhelming - a 50's garage sale decor, sort of cafeteria style ordering process. But as we waited for our food, noticed copious amounts of food in front of delighted patrons who were obviously enjoying it. Our arrived with little fanfare, but when we started to enjoy the food, all I can say is it was outstanding BBQ. I've had food from a number of highly rated venues in the US south, this rivals or surpasses them all. We both enjoyed a half rack of baby back ribs and split a red-neck poutine. They were excellent. This is a definite must see in Georgetown and I later understood it was featured on "You Gotta Eat Here" TV series. next time, I'll try the brisket, it looked fabulous and the way the neighbouring table was eating it, tasted as good as it looked. Overall experience was very good to excellent. Decor etc, very eclectic 50's garage sale theme, service good, food outstanding, portion size was good with a number of "hungry man" options for the big eater. Value was very good. Get there early if you want to eat in. They seem to do a lot of takeout as well. Not only will recommend to a friend, but are planning a pilgrimage with a group of friends soon!
