"Had a fantastic dining experience at Hudson House this past weekend. The wait staff, service staff, and owner went above and beyond expectations. The grilled octopus was cooked to perfection and the entrees and desert were excellently prepared and tasted fantastic. Overall a phenomenal experience made even better by the exceptional quality of service we received. The owner Matt Hudson even took time to explain some of his hand-carved art which was a delight. Would highly recommend Hudson House to anyone."

Wife and I decided to have a nice dinner in Nyack and kept hearing about how awesome the Hudson House is so we went to fill our bellies. Let me start by saying that Mr. Matthew Hudson (owner) was such an outstanding man. Nothing makes someone feel more welcomed than an owner introducing themselves and giving you a little history on the place. Our waitress, Meagan was also very attentive and awesome! We had the cheese plate for appetizer which was great, followed by our entrees which was the pasta and tiger shrimp and the braised short rib. I could?ve probably had 2 plates because it was soooo good! My wifes? dish was also delicious and I know because I?m greedy and had more than just a taste of hers, BUT it?s all good because we had space for dessert, which was made by Mr. Matthew Hudson himself. It had to be the best dessert we?ve had in Rockland thus far. I can?t remember the name of the desserts but they were so amazing as well. The staff are wonderful and it?s a reflection of the owner and how well Mr. Hudson runs his restaurant. Kudos! Thanks for a great dinner and wonderful evening. We will definitely be back.
This is by far my favorite place to eat in the world I still have to explore the world internationally except Haiti this place reads comfort love support happiness. I love Mat Hudson (Koch/Dessert-Manufacturer/Server/Bartender) he is great as he is the photography he has his artistry through the pictures in the store and through the food especially the desserts. I always feel welcome. There were times when I came in without reservation, and he always took the time to find space for me. I love Alexis (Server) I always hope to get them when I get their mind is beautiful and they?s super attentive My favourite item is to get shrimps and dizzes and every steak they have to offer, but as now the coat hanger Steak is my favorite this is a small plate space except eating it pops with flavors from this world the menu is simply eating unique the people wonderful every time I hope for years
My wife and I have been going to Hudson House for a few years and never disappointed. I'm a big fan of the pig's stall and my wife loves the fish, but all her ducks are delicious. Matt (owner) is very personal and really understands how to run a restaurant; always try to fit us in peak times (without reservation). Waiters are very nice and cannot do enough for you. I think this is one of the best restaurants in Rockland County. It's great for a date night, the ambience is perfect. Make yourself early for a handcrafted cocktail in the bar and make sure you enjoy their homemade desserts (Crack pie is legendary)!
I found absolutely a new favorite restaurant that is Hudson House. Everything about the experience from entering to going out is incredible. Staff are amazing, personal, intentional, friendly, energetic and so much more. Our way to the server is Jose and he is a fireman! The owner Matt is so friendly and committed to all customers. The stories of you? ll hear from his background and the history of the restaurant are special! My Fave Plates are: short rib, gnudi, tiger shrimp Pasta and OF COURSE Risspis! Can wait to go back soon
