What a great place... if you love smoked anything, this is your place. If you love beer this is your place. The pastrami is the best I have ever tasted. Not too salty, and melts in your mouth. The monkfish pastrami yummy. Portobello fries must have. Smokehouse potatoes/francuzáky delicious. Loved all the pickled and fermented vegetables. What a change from the ordinary. If you like pork belly, theirs is to die for. Lentil soup thick and scrumptious. Of course my husband loved the Plzeňský Prazdroj/ Pilsner Urquell. I loved the Downeast Unfiltered Cider. Others loved Schofferhofer. Everything we ate and drank was excellent. These foodies will be back soon.
I just threw a surprise 40th birthday for my wife there. It was phenomenal throughout everything, from setting it up and all the way through the party. The food is great whether serving 74 people like we had or eating there for lunch or dinner with a few people. The beer selection is outstanding and finally the ones who make it all happen are by far second to none. I would recommend this place to anyone for an afteroon or night out and also for parties. My experiences with both situations were awesome. Thanks guys!
A nice place to hangout and a have a quick bite with friends in Jersey City. This is located on Marin Blvd between Grove Street and Newport path stations. We started with the fries which were nice and crispy and the spread was good. They have a lot of draft beer options and they have standard bottled beer as well. They have outdoor seating as well which is a nice in good weather. A good place to chill and have a drink or two in Jersey City.
This is a fun place to hangout. Especially during games. Food and drinks selections are good, plenty and they rotate their taps very often. Waitstaff and service is always good. Do check out the annex next door where they have stand ups or events sometimes. That’s a cool place as well.
