Usually don’t write reviews however peri peri house has been disappointing us over and over again. Because there aren’t many options available for peri peri chicken in Weston at the moment, we have to use them! We do 15 minutes drive to get food from them and it’s not even worth it. We have given them three chances abs every time it’s disappointing. First of all the customer service is appealing! The guy on the phone sounds like he hates his job and his customers! If you don’t want to be in customer service area, then please do not pick up the phone!! Secondly I find as a business they look at what’s beneficial for them before their customers! They don’t like doing small changes for customers because it’s not convenient for them. Chicken is either too dry or too salty! And tonight meal had no taste! And I mean no taste whatsoever. On top of that, they tried to mug us off by making up price on the spot! I mean they almost changed £6 for a bottle of drink!! Looking back at their reviews, some other customers have mention that! How they over charge or charge wrong. We always try to support our local business! Also local business need to appreciate their locals! These kind of food amd service is just not good enough!!
I placed an order at 6:10pm and was told it would be delivered by 6:50pm. After my first call at 7:10pm, they said it had been dispatched and would be arriving soon. After a second call at 7:35pm, they said it was on its way. The food finally arrived at 8pm and it was terrible. The chicken and chips were cold, my pitta bread was flattened, and the chicken was dry. My kids complained about their food the whole time. It was my birthday and I was extremely disappointed. After speaking to a manager, he offered to cook the food again, but I declined and asked for a refund instead. The manager then said he would have the food collected, but the only food left to collect was mine and half of my daughters. I received less than half of the money refunded. Overall, the service was poor and the food was awful.
I have been here for many years but when I have noticed the standard slipping each year. Now I walk in to be told they cant be bothered to serve me? Are you open or not? It says on your website you are open for another half hour? Cant be bothered? Another lazy takeaway. I cant wait for you to close now another come in your place. Avoid at all costs.
I recently tried this restaurant for the first time and it was a great experience. The chicken was delicious, especially the wings, and the salad was also very good. It was a nice family meal that we all enjoyed. We will definitely be ordering from here again in the future.
