I'll explain these fauxpas from a Christmas dinner in small chapters. Chapter 1: The order was brought to the table at the beginning. Why I write, do you ask? I dare to doubt that in the middle there is a good description for a room where we should take place. We barely sat down, we got a paper map, whose contents were only made up of meat and fries. Usually you also get a card for drinks and wines of the house, we thought. There isn't here. After that we learned that this is the Christmas card. Very strange, considering that you are pampered at the entrance with a large and varied menu. A brief information that would have been quite appropriate on the reservation, but they also found it on site. Whether it was a challenge can be contested, but questions such as: Do you want sauces to their fries? Or did you prepare her steak? fell under the table. I think the honeycombs should be explained again at this point. Chapter 2: Salad bar While we waited for our dishes, neighbors sit with plates full of salads blessed us. Since we feed for the first time in the restaurant, we didn't know about a salad bar – but we were not asked. After our neighbors we went to the salad bar, which is really small and narrow. I am 1.83m tall, and I almost had to lie down, because if I stood, it would have become a blind tasting. So one stood with the face glued to the pane, while other people were standing beside a crowded and ate, on the rather monotonous and empty salad bar – an ebony of the Christmas card. Chapter 3: The food came fortunately. It was interesting. On the right you can see a steak swimming in a soßenozean. On the left you will see exactly the opposite. A fish fillet that is dryer than the Gobi Desert in Asia. For this purpose the addition: unsalted pumice and oversalted potatoes. In addition, it was probably too much to ask a court a little. The view of the dishes was as sober as that of the salad bar. Of course we know that a lot is going on for Christmas and some screws have to be released to run the shop. The staff was friendly and the food was sufficient. I would not say that the restaurant is bad, because only a visit is not enough to evaluate this qualified. Maybe you were in the wrong place at the wrong time. It was really a pity that the menu had nothing to do with Christmas. Not even the candles were illuminated at our place. If you want to eat as a family in a beautiful place for Christmas, it would also be useful to offer a corresponding card for vacation if you already throw the whole card on board or just to know that the regular card will not take place during the reservation. It seemed to me after a mass dissipation to host as many guests as possible in a short time. Luckily we had kids pingui at home.
Absolute one of these good days at a restaurant. From the outside you don't expect this to be top class, the look of the restaurant is the classic German style. The staff is super friendly and gives a good guidance. The food is absolute awesome, high quality all the way. Highly recommend this place.
