We went here after reading all the glowing reports on Trip Advisor but were disappointed The good points are : Nice atmosphere however the lights are turned down so low that it would be impossible to read the menu if there were one ...Good service attentive waiter The bad points far outway the good viz No choice of meal set menu of CHF69 only one main course offered and today it was veal and rice and chick peas no other choice of main course too bad if you did not like veal or chick peas the veal was tough !!! The entree was soup the serving was small and mean and the soup luke warm The course after the starter was pasta bolognese but they did allow me to exchange this for a salad the salad consisted of mostly lettuce leaves with tomato and carrot shavings If you want a serious meal then I suggest that you try elsewhere
With a group of 13 people for dinner. The food was good and is served in house style. You need to plan a lot of time as it is a 5-course menu and the service takes a while. Overall, the food was good, but...entirely too much and there is only 1 selection. They replaced a vegetarian duck. It costs 69 CHF per person, for only the meal. All drinks water, coffee are additionally We sat outside and the atmosphere was very nice. You have to look at the wine cellar, even if you don't drink wine... beautiful!
If you do not already know, the mamma in the name of the restaurant refers to the fact that the food is served at home. So I mean that they offer a few different versions of the same meal (variant meat and/or vegitarian) and...all comes on common plates or bowls. The service was excellent as the food and decor. Someone, obviously, some time and effort to design the restaurant. The staff, a person, was amazingly friendly and helpful. In short, we definitely go back.
Went Spontane for a Mexican lunch. Very modern ipad menus. The waitress was very patient and well informed about the entire menu. The freshly prepared dome was served in interesting wooden bowl. Lunch was very delicious. The restaurant was decorated with amazing Mexican...features. The bathroom was an interesting visit, very colorful sinks and the toilet doors are amazing woodwork. Defined will be back to check the evening menu and environment.
