Past the surprise of the place that reminds of an eco-neighborhood of container houses, and behind this facade, this hotel complex of a new type still has some adjustments to the experience. Containers are actually buildings with modern architecture well done. The interior is spacious and can accommodate up to 3 people (in some rooms there is a small separate bed from the main room, without a real partition. Well equipped, the apartment since that is what it is, offers the necessary cooking and refrigerator. It is air-conditioned in the main room and the system is intended to serve the entire accommodation. It didn't seem to us. The walls blocking the circulation of hot air in the bathroom where it was a little cooler (if it is fries? Thought that the electrical system will only be activated when the card is inserted into the intended housing to validate the power supply. We thought air conditioning/heating was excluded from the aircraft. No. When we entered the temperature was 22• with this system that was very hot. We fell at 20• and came back several hours later the story was different. It made for sure less than 20• and the machine put more than an hour to return to the temperature (it means it was a first night at negative temperature outside. We don't have dinner on site or even lunch, but the establishment offers and showcases local producers, at correct prices (about 25€ for a complete formula. It is cheaper than breakfast billed even more than 10€. Although it is well stocked, we have modestly found this exaggerated price. Is this the 3* effect that this hotel won in 2022 that helped increase its prices? Littering, the most important thing when you visit this type of establishment, is perfect. Not too hard or too soft with a good pillow!!!! A very positive point to emphasize! In summary, it is a good hotel very close to Caen, quietly, on the road to the sea and the landing beaches in a pretty neighborhood. A little too far from what could be a real hotel and too close to an apartment to grasp the real concept despite the particular setting.
Super clean hotel with extensive breakfast and unbeatable good and friendly service.On site are three charging stations. Two newer with 20 kW and an older one with 7 kW (only Schuko!). Rooms are spacious and clean with built-in kitchen and sensible equipment. There is also a small terrace balcony, which is very cozy in the evenings.Shops are available around the hotel and the popular excursion destinations in this region are quick and easy to reach.
