Rainy Sunday and in need of sustenance. Chose this place and ordered from the set menu @17.50 € plus a bottle of wine. Servers were excellent and the food was good and well presented. However when I went to pay found that they had overcharged for both the wine and the dessert. On querying the bill the server adjusted the wine charge but stuck to the extra 6 € for the desserts stating that we had asked for icecream with the dessert. Not true ! ( And 6 € for half scoop of icecream is ridiculous ). Asked to speak to the manager and she would not come out . When I mentioned this to the people whose cottage we were renting, they told us this had happened to friends of theirs also. So, be warned !

We went here a couple of times whilst staying in Le Beny Bocage nearby. The dining room is clean and modern and furnished to a high standard. The staff were friendly and very helpful and spoke very good English and were very patient with our halting French. The food was of a very high standard even the 17.50 Euro set menu was great even served with Tapenade and croustades to start and an amuse bouche as well as starter, main and desert. Excellent food and service both nights.

Very traditional high quality restaurant. 3 course meal 17.50 euros.Excellent service and value for money. The food presentation and quality is outstanding.English is fluently spoken but they do appreciate it if you try with your French even if it is bad! Went twice and each occasion was superb. We paid more money at a Campanile restaurant where the food was OK but more like a UK Harvester.
