Previous Captain's Quarters Dockside Bar Grille, NOW HOOKS... This is evil in a delicious way). What else did they put in this pack to make it taste so good? Oh onions. Bacon-Fries were the perfect combination of cheese and bacon for the perfect taste. Gator bits were tasteful and not “rubbery”. The dip serves a perfect combination with sweet potatoes. Shrimp PoBoy reviews about Prev tries elsewhere. Key Limette had the right amount of Tangy to enjoy. Outside seats near water and dog friendly. Our waitress Alicia was exceptional personality and service! Diedra came by and said high and loved our pup. The person who runs this ship, whatever she does with running this restaurant, has it in our fav places to eat list.
Very nice atmosphere, good food and sunshine.... The only thing that concerned me was the spices outside on the tables in the hot FL sun vinegar was very warm, as well as the ketchup... My daughter is sick of using products, not from here, but from other places that do this, we have only found a few places that do this, and I understand it is more work for the servers, definitely easier to keep them in the table, but for the restaurants they bring out if necessary, tend to better quality... And we had no problems with annoyed belly beaks. We had the fried fish sandwich and children chicken finger with fries. Both were good.
I read several reviews and it seems like it was hit or miss on getting good service and good food. We wanted somewhere close on the water so we checked it out.I'm sure glad we did because we really enjoyed it. The view outside looks over to a protected area full of mangroves. The service was great and the food was better than my expectations. I had fish and chips and my guest ordered the crab cakes off the appetizer menu and added some fires. The food was in my opinion four stars and the service five stars. I would also give the view five stars so overall five stars it is! We will be back again.
Only went for drinks and no food. Great spot on the water with beautiful views. We watched boats go by and pelicans swim by.
