"It was good ... but it was not a fun experience. Not particularly keen on the decor or the table setting. In short, a little disappointment. Talent in cooking clearly. But it lacks passion. It lacks generosity."

A group of us decided to try their 5 course tasting with wine paring. The food was great, cooked to perfection. The wine parings worked fantastically. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that while the staff was great, the service was a bit too slow. We were waiting on average a half hour to 45 minutes between courses. This was in no way the fault of the servers, the restaurant just needs to make the concept of course and wine paring work by coordinating the timing better. Being a fairly new restaurant I think they can improve over time.

A recent dinner here demonstrated that the food turned out is excellent. The service is fine. But the kitchen is terribly slow. We had 30 minute waits between courses. Other tables just absorbed the wait by leaving for 20 minutes for a smoke. We don't smoke. The food is fine. The sweetbreads are exceptional. The wine list quite reasonable and extensive. Our experience was marred by the length of the meal, over 3 hours for a 3 course dinner....and we were there on a weekday night when there were open tables.

For the occasion of a birthday, we made reservations at this restaurant. We were well received. The menu was presented to us and the waiters answered all of our questions. The choice is varied and the prices are acceptable. I opted for the cavatelli as a starter and we shared the prime rib which was enough for the four. It was well presented and above all succulent. The atmosphere was great and we had a lovely evening.

3rd time at this restaurant. I love their warm oysters and their entrees in general. Too expensive meat-based main courses ... My companion took a steak, it was perfectly cooked over a wood fire, but it was tough. Scallops, fish, excellent. Focacia blackened over a stunning fire, a real dessert! Interesting wines
