they enjoy a quite pleasant 4 hours lunch with a friend about excellent wine and a fantastic Deli cellar. the baked cader was from this world. fitz, the owner, was very friendly and knowledgeable. the personal was attentive, but not too in the face. we sat outside on a sunny day, with views of the harbour, and the time just flew. When I came out sometime, I found the exceptional value for money, at least 1/3 cheaper than I used to. already booked to try the seafood cellars in a few weeks time. when they read this fitz, they open their second in westhoughton!
we were a family celebration of 5, 3 of which had previously been in honky honk. the first impression when they entered is the beautiful atmosphere followed by the warm welcome of the owner zoe . we shared the meat plate for 4 and added a little extra from the menu. the eating was amazing, a great choice on the plate and the service was fantastic. a really warm, comfortable chilled mood allowed us to have a fantastic evening and we are already looking for booking again.
It’s a great place to dine with friends. The owners have great knowledge of wines and their recommendations turned out to be really good even though I’m not a fan of red wine, I liked the wine they suggested . Food was really nice and portions big we couldn’t finish it all! . Service was brilliant too! We’d certainly go again if we manage to book a table!!
fantastic experience from beginning to end. beautiful relaxed atmosphere, staff very welcoming and gave us some great recommendations to eat and weeping. had a comfortable sofa, perfect to sit down and relax while enjoying fantastic eating and weeping. I would like to come back in summer!
