"Big local diner as you would expect on the main road. Massive portions and friendly waiting staff. Has a little feel a hole in the wall that feels sincere and is a positive in my book. The prices are a bit high, which is why four stars. Good stuff!"

I always cook Thanksgiving dinner from scratch for my family, but this year I?m pregnant and feeling all-day-sickness, vomiting, etc. So I decided to order food and this place had good reviews. I?m actually sad to write this review, but I have to be honest: nobody liked the food. Presentation was bad, stuffing was not good at all (looked like dog food), canned green beans instead of fresh. We had high hopes, but I guess we?re way too spoiled by my homemade food. I make fresh green beans from scratch, they have vibrant colors and crunchy texture. My classic stuffing is to dye for, full of flavor. I?m so disappointed, it kinda ruined our Thanksgiving dinner. Oh well, by Christmas I?ll be feeling better and will be able to cook for my family all the delicious food they love!

Cosy little café in downtown Sumner. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. We ordered our breakfast and it came within 8 to 10 minutes. I ordered the Farmers Hash. It was very good many potatoes and eggs. There was really not as much bacon, sausage and ham as I expected, but it was still a great breakfast. I recommend this café!

Relaxing and fast, the Hometown Cafe asks for hungry appetite. I had the turkey pannini, although it was good, it wasn't as good as the chicken slaughter that a member of our family tried. There is a wide selection of lemonades and icy teas to accompany your meal and the Ranger Cookie has a great taste and can be shared by two people.

Very average place, nothing to really flee. The food is good. Were charged for strawberries I never got and had to bring it to their attention. The place is quite small, also with a staircase so prepared to rub elbows with the table behind you and next to you. Parking is also a problem because it humners.
