Certainly not the first time I've been to the Hof, and as ever the food was really good. I was happy to see the elderly owner still checking with his customers that all is okay and taking time to say hello, as has been his custom for as long as I can remember. The only negative of the evening is that there were only two lady's taking orders and although highly effective, they were very very busy. Later on though, they were assisted by others.
Eating was fine, delicious, despite the rain, we had a cheese nitzel and a cordon bleu. We also slept at the hotel. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMACK AND SECRETS, BUTTER DOES ON ice cream and so insufferable. Tea bags with no packaging loose in a basket where everyone's crowning in. Not very hygienic all of them were filled and staff were just grabbed by the hands. The girl had left her forehead before that. ..bah!
the personal is friendly and accommodating. the speissekarte offers a large selection of different local or international. Of course we have a Swiss fondue chosen for a person. it was very net dressed and the portion haette could be a bit more, but throughout it was good.
