The Hirschgarten restaurant can be accessed by car, bus transportation or best by foot through the spectucaular forest all round this beautiful rustic house in the forest with its own park where the deer roam. The service can be a little slow when it is busy, which is anytime when the weather is good, but is worthwhile waiting for. Good value for money.

Amazing location in the middle of the forest, unfortunately not accesible without a car or with a bus. The menu is kept simple but all dishes which I tried were delicious. The staff should improve its attitude towards their guest, quite unfriendly and unpolite. It will influence my decision of bringing my customers there in the near future.

My family decided to try Hirschgarten and weren't overly impressed. The food was ok, nothing special. The waiters were friendly and served us quickly, however the food was to rushed. The schnitzel was ok but the bratkattofel was lovely. Great location but there is better food around Bad Homburg

Great place for a family lunch and a stroll around afterwards to see the deer and the forest. Very children friendly. If you plan to go during popular lunch times, on the weekend for example you'd better book.
