While walking down State Street, came across this place. As the outside seating area was busy we decided to give it a try. I am not sure if all the dishes were authentic but they did have flavor. However, we felt that both the veggie dishes tasted somewhatsimilar. The dishes were definitely fresh. Enjoyed the soup the most. If you like spicy, try their hot sauce, it was fantastic. It is hot so be careful. Our server was attentive and she was very friendly. The food was served without any delays. Overallexperience was average.

I ordered a platter. The menu said it comes with a variety of sauces so you can try all of them. However there was only one sauce, when I asked they said that's the only sauce they have. I had to shove dry roti with water. Very short staffed. There was only one person serving all the tables. Water spilling from the tables and dishes falling since he was trying to hurry up. The place did not feel clean! It is NOT worth at all, for the price they charge for the dishes.

Himal Chuli is one of the classic small businesses that makes State Street great. Had some time to fill on a Wednesday afternoon so I stopped in for a little bite. I ordered the samosas, which were as delicious as they were beautiful. I was pleasantlysurprised that the order included a delicious cup of dal too. Absolutely recommend for flavors that are a little of the beatenpath!

The food tasted good and was very fresh, but quite oily. It ended up making me really sick, but I?m in cancer treatment so anything could be a gamble. I had the eggplant and spouse had the lamb (which he absolutely loved).
