Awful service. Ok food. Never going back. My order for eggs apparently was not placed. I waited minutes and checked up front asking where my food was. They said, “one minute.” The servers apparently thought I wanted to order. A server came by a few minutes later asking if I wanted anything. I tried to explain I had already ordered. A few more minutes goes by and an English speaking server asks if I had already ordered. Then the manager (owner came over and apologized and explained the order never went through. Asked if I wanted a coffee on the house. I already had a coffee during the minute wait. All this while I had a place setting and silverware in front of me nobody thought to check if I had food coming. Also, if you sit on the patio, people will beg you for money from the sidewalk.

Easily the best bagel I've had in Colombia! It's pretty hard to find a decent bagel in Colombia, speaking from years experience living in the country after years in Brooklyn. Somewhere between a Lender's/Thomas's and a real NYC bagel, it was chewy and delicious. The americano was excellent—rich and chocolatey with a note of cinnamon and grapefruit.

I love this place. I had their latte, chai latte, and lox bagel. Everything was fantastic, especially the lox bagel which was one of the best I’ve ever had. I did not expect that in Colombia. When I return to Medellin I look forward to visiting Hija Mía.

The salmon bagel was so amazing that I had to come back the next day. Also very friendly staff
