Hi Dozo Sushi - Table reservation

New renos looking good.... This is as close to a Japanese sushi bar/rest as you may find in New West. Yes actually operated by a Japanese sushi chef and assistant.No coloured sushi rice, great offerings of rolls and more rolls. From the traditional to the new era sushi favorites.They have many items not on the everyday 'sushi ' menu : Bento box at lunch is superb. Always specials to pick from ; Is it me or do servers not serve and pick up drinks/glasses on a tray any longer? My only bee-atch!

I don't know what has happened to this place but the last 2 times we ordered for pick up they have gotten the order wrong. The woman who is now answering the phone taking the orders doesn't seem to understand or care that she is the first point of contact for the business. It's too bad too because we have been coming here for years, but sadly we will not be going back. Save your money and go somewhere else where you will have an enjoyable experience

Hi, Dozo Sushi. Okay, I admit that I used to think that your name meant that you were saying “Hi” to someone named “Dozo Sushi”. I don’t think that I’m too crazy… after all, you usually have a comma after the word “hi” and before someone’s name. As it turns out, “hai, dozo” roughly translates to “please, go ahead” or “go first” when you’re in polite conversation.

Amazing food! Try the angus roll and salmon passion. It's excellent! The staff are friendly. Tea was refilled often. Atmosphere is gorgeous.

My FAV local sushi place! Friendly and efficient service... Peanut Grinch Roll is a must-have.
