Just moved to the area from the Olympia area and we are still gaining our bearings on what to eat in our new city. Gyro House is officially top of the list. I’m not going to lie, I was apprehensive when we walked in because the space leaves little to be desired. It’s a pretty stark space with little to look at and it felt a little cold. BUT THE FOOD IS WHAT COUNTS and the food is PHENOMENAL. And just when you think that the food is the shining star, you get helped by some of the kindest people on this planet. Homie at the counter was more than happy to make substitutions and held a really nice conversation with us that really made my husband and I feel valued. 11/10 food and service, 4/10 atmosphere. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, the service was amazing! Felt like we had been there before, they were friendly and great to talk with. The food was amazing! It was my first time and I will be returning! I had the chicken kabob dinner. Oh man, it was delicious! Prices were great! No where in yakima can I get dinner and a drink for the price I did here!
