Gwenn Ha Du - Table reservation

Happened upon this place at lunch-time. Very simple menu (see photo); starer of cold buffer then a choice of three of four mains (on the day we were there cod, lamb, moules and steak) desert (choice of about 4 or 5) coffee and 1/4 litre of wine included for €15.40 - supplement for steak and mussels). We were a party of four and were all really impressed. The cold self-service buffet could have filled you up on its own. A wonderful selection of cold meats and salads and prawns etc. Three of the party had the excellent cod and one had steak; all highly satisfied. Deserts were also good - again see photo for the strawberry desert. Throw in a cup of coffee and the whole bill was about €65. It doesn't get a lot better value!

A busy and well run restaurant with a large regular local clientele.Good food set up in the style of a "Routier Restaurant"Clients help themselves to first course from a cold buffet and the selected main course is brought to your table.Good basic local food with seasonal ingredients, amiable and efficient service.

Hoping for a quick bite and a glass of wine near the water in Loctudy and fiding nothing on the water, we tried Gwenn Ha Du, and left quickly after sampling the strangely ordinary, unattractive and uninspired starters buffet. Hopefully the mains/plats are better.

great food , great service, great value . This well placed resturant offers very well prepared food , but be warned it's best to reserve a table ...it's very popular ....

superb , real good food , staff and owners very good, highly recommeneded, steaks are huge , will be back
