My friends and family have frequented this place over the years, to celebrate reunions and special occasions. The ambiance with small separate dining areas as well as large gathering facility is great, easy to find yet hidden in a small village, Warmbronn, among fields and...woods at the edge of the Black Forest. Make reservations if you can and are more than Parking can be tricky as adjoining spaces are limited but not impossible to find. Food ranges from local specialties to wild boar, deer, venison, with dumplings, homemade spaetzle and an array of scrumptious deserts, local wines. Clean, pleasing, friendly accommodations staff.

At the beginning of March we were there for a business dinner with 11 people. The place was very well visited and it took almost 20 minutes to drink. The staff was exhausting and very friendly... but a service partner would have been more appropriate. The food was excellent... every single one... I forgot to make pictures of the main course... because everything took a relatively long time. Nevertheless, I would like to recommend this restaurant because quality and ambience are consistent.

make sure you make a reservation if you want to go at the weekend or on a special date as this place is very popular. The dishes are traditional but prepared with a modern touch and ereything is excelente. The place is a family business,...for several generations, and it is surprisingly modern regading management etc. The goose dished around Christmas time are famous and if you can make it, do go and indulge.
