Last night, we ordered online. When I got there to pick up the pizza, I was told that it was up next and that it would be just a few minutes. About 15 minutes later, after several people picked up their orders, I asked why the delay and was told again that it was up next and would be a few more minutes. When I asked why I was told it again that it would be up next, I was told that it was up next. It was a circular discussion with the cashier purposely missing the point. I asked to see the manager. His response was not much different than the cashier's response. His only addition was to mention that they had a deal going that night that was popular which set them back timewise. I didn't care about the wait as it was a Friday night and they had a special going (that they have offered in times past). I expected it to be busy. I was more concerned that I was told upon arrival that my order was up next and then several people arrived and got their orders. Keep in mind, they were polite the entire time...just not listening to what I was saying.Most of the time I get better service than this. This just stuck with me because they were not listening to what I was saying. Instead they were using the customer service skill of apologizing for something I didn't even think was important.
