Stopped by here for a quick beer and a couple appetizers. Went to the bar and sat down. The bartender was less than friendly and kinda just plopped menus down and walked away. No friendly or warm greeting. There were maybe 3 (at most) other people at the very large bar, and not many people at tables. After a couple of minutes she asked what we wanted and we ordered 3 beers. Unfortunately, the beer I ordered (Saison Rouge) either had an error in the brewing process or the gas ratio wasn’t right. She said it would take a couple minutes, but I saw how it was pouring so I told her not to worry and got something else. We then ordered the fried pickle chips and they were okay. Nothing to write home about. We also ordered the buffalo chicken dip which came with chips. I had none but the people I was with said it was ‘awful’.The beers we had were quite good. We had been to the New Hope location previously and found it to be wayyyy more inviting and friendly.I know there’s been trouble with staffing and such due to COVID, so I don’t want to be too harsh on the place, as I am a big supporter of local craft breweries.I hope they get their act together and figure out how to be more inviting in a seemingly cold setting.Cheers.
