where I start with this absolute gemstone of a place! welcomed by friendly warm smiles to leave the feeling like a village regularly this pub is worth a trip. I have been with my husband several times (and our very beloved lab vince) as well as friends who love good eating and we are not yet disappointed to leave. the menu is small, but with a dish for everyone you are a meat lover, vegetarian or landing between. from a tiny kitchen are made large dishes kreatiw. it is quality over quantity; in portions are a moot point when everyone bursts with taste. Sunday evening dinners are exceptional with bark meat they can cut with a spoon, black bubble with crispy cracks or try a cadry if they want a little less traditional. the starters are easy so they can enjoy three courses and believe me they want. today I enjoyed a dessert of baked custard and apricot jam (with homemade shortbread) this pub makes it all; picturesque with low irradiated ceilings for a cozy feeling, a nice selection of outdoor spaces in summer and local / fresh/seasonal ingredients to show the chefs obviously passion for cooking. the drinks also come from a local/ British insula provenienz, which is beautiful to see. the couple that leads this place loves clearly what they do and it radiates; we will continue to come back to enjoy the joys on future menus!
