Don?t get the Gang Gang. It?s a red cocktail that tastes like grapefruit juice mixed with lemons. Stick with a white wine like a Prosecco. Comes in a cute bottle and matches with most of what?s on the menu anyway. The salmon was magnifique, as they say in Italian...at least I think that?s Italian...crispy skin with a soft delicious interior. And a nice little avocado salad with spinach on the bottom. Your taste buds will thank you. The pizza was good also. The bread was soft. And the Caesar salad came with two anchovies. Not sure if that was an accident or on purpose but it worked. Good place to have a sit down all things considered. Surprisingly packed on the Tuesday afternoon we went. Must be popular after work.
Cosy charming authentic Italian. Only the correct amount of selections that offer selection, but not overwhelming. I never had a bad meal. The owner is pretty cool and sociable, but he could be a little nicer for the staff. I was there once before the pandemic for a late lunch and he was not very warm and fuzzy prepping waiting staff for dinner. Otherwise, never had a problem with service or something else. My friend from Bologna introduced me... he knows his food. Nothing wrong with atmosphere... only there was time of day.... nothing special. Maybe better at night. Certainly private area enjoyed once for private events.
I stayed here after I searched an hour for parking near some other facilities. At least I knew I would go into what is now one of my favorite restaurants on the east coast. The service was fantastic and appealing, the menu was only on what was needed, and the food was exquisite. I want to come back here for many years.
What a phenomenal experience! Felt incredibly welcome from the moment we stepped through the door. The food was exceptional. There was a depth of flavor to every bite and we cannot wait to go back again! Thank you Gran Gusto!
