Grain d'Sel - Table reservation

Le Treport has a sizeable selection of tempting looking restaurants along its harbourside. Ignore them all and continue to the end, turn the corner and instead choose this small restaurant opposite the casino. The menu (note: only available before is stupendous value. We...started with fish soup a generous portion and properly hot (so often its served tepid and the cheese doesn't melt). We followed with fresh and succulent skate. Desserts were also delicious. As the meal was so cheap we treated ourselves to a more expensive bottle of wine than normal; picking the Quincy. This was absolutely gorgeous sauvignon blanc at its best and a perfect accompaniment to the fish we had chosen. As we walked back to our hotel we noticed that although our restaurant had been packed, none of the competition down the harbourside was more than half full. That tells you everything

Walking around Treport, all of the restaurants close to Grain d'sel seem to be offering wonderful seafood. However, we are every so happy we decided to have lunch here instead. My girlfriend decided to order the euro three course set menu and she wasn't...disappointed. Her fish soup was delicious and it is a very generous portion. It came accompanied by delicious crunchy croutons and cheese as well as maybe a mustard sauce flavoured with saffron? Her main course of a seafood style tartiflette with the most delicious chips I've had. Almost cut like a boat and really airy in the middle. perfect for scooping up the sauce. My salmon topped with the local neufchatel cheese was lovely as well. We both loved the floating island for dessert which came in a lovely custard and a drizzle of caramel. Definitely would go again when in Treport

Faced with a large choice of restaurants near the port, we relied on TripAdvisor to steer us to the right choice. Our Grain d’Sel experience started with a very warm welcome and was followed by a wonderful meal. The seafood was excellent and desserts were...wonderful. The service was professional and friendly throughout the meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant be sure to make a reservation as it is popular. If you are traveling with someone with mobility issues, this restaurant is actually step free accessible

We took the menu and had a nice selection of local seafood. Enough options for the courses. Fantastic service and we waddled out hours very satisfied

Food was great, fresh and the personnel was really welcoming and nice. Would recommend it to everyone, one of the best restaurants in Le Treport
