Great gluten free bakery and cafe, including vegan options! It is inside the shopping center on the 9th floor. The entire cafe is gluten free. They have a lunch menu of sandwiches, salads, toasts, and other items. They also have fresh juices and a full bakery of breads, cupcakes, and cakes. I am on a restricted diet (no gluten, dairy, egg). It is hard to find places like this in the U.S., so I was thrilled to come here! I got a roast beef sandwich (Gf vegan bread, lactose free cheese) and then two slices of cake to go (black velvet, triple chocolate). My two travel companions (No diet restrictions) got egg dishes. Everything was delicious!! Highly recommend! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We went to the Gourmet Experience on top of El Corte Ingles at 10am on Monday and enjoyed a delicious breakfast with coffee, and it was gluten-free to boot. I enjoyed two boiled eggs and two slices of GF toast with extremely tasty Spanish bacon. My friend had an omelette that they were happy to make vegetarian for her, plus a chocolate chip cookie. We thoroughly enjoyed everything, while appreciating a sunny view of the city.

1. Not all prices are listed on the board. I ordered a plain “frappe” of black coffee and milk and ice for 6€, which i only found out when i got the bill. I’m pretty mad because it was tasteless, besides served in a plastic cup 2. Cakes and cupcakes are good but a bit too sweet. I guess it depends on what you choose but yeah, just my subjective opinion 3. All takeaways are served in plastic!

This is a cute little cafe just off Gran Via the major shopping area. I had their poke with chicken and rice and found it to be very good and healthy. I stayed for the dessert and coffee. The coffee was not too strong or weak. The almond lemon tart is worth a try. Service can be alittle disorganized.
