The restaurant Kostbar has been located in the estate of Gourmet Berner in Weinstadt since June 2015. The old brick building on the Bundesstraße is divided into the shop of Gourmet Berner and the restaurant and can also be rented for events. Rustikal joins the wooden tables in the guest room. The chairs and also the tables, and this is surely as desired, are different in design. It doesn't bother me, but it also found that I wasn't comfortable sitting on it. The kitchen can be seen by the fact that it is slightly set back and that the vault is also located in front of it, then not again. To the aperitif, tonight I had a glass of champagne filled with Rhabarber Cassis. My dinner should be Malfatti today (10.50 euros). Malfatti are spinach cheese cams and made in the precious house. With cherry tomatoes and the own taste of fresh sage, this was a wonderfully light dish. So that the whole dish is not too dry, it was accompanied by a parmesan sauce that was perfect for it. Another time I had eaten there at lunchtime. The Asian noodles (7,50 euros) were ok. I get them at Ye Shan Fung around the corner but much better and homemade. The carrots ginger soup of my accompaniment didn't get so good either. A thin broth made the soup visually not a racer and the too much of ginger left the carrots very much in the background. A seating area was created in front of the restaurant for the summer. It would be quite nice there not the noise of the busy road and the feeder to the federal road, next to it. I had several lunches and dinners in the star award. Also the service that goes from extremely inattentive to very talkative.
Essen und (nebenher) Spezialitäten einkaufen ist ein netter Ansatz.Leider finden die Spezialitäten des Geschäfts es wohl nicht immer auch auf die Teller des Restaurants. Kleine Karte (was prinzipiell nichts schlechtes ist), aber leider doch etwas zu magere Auswahl. Für Kinder ist zwar ein Burger mit im Portfolie, der überzeugt aber nicht wirklich. Das Gemüse ist frisch und die Getränkeauswahl ausreichend.Leider direkt zwischen der Bundesstraße und einer stark befahrenen Umgehungsstraße, was es draußen doch sehr laut, aber vor allem geruchstechnisch anstrengend macht. In Abgasen zu sitzen ist einfach nicht schön!
Es ist ein schöner Laden zum Bummeln und man findet eigentlich immer was.Super für Geschenke und Mitbringsel.Ich finde es etwas hochpreisig.Essen kann man lecker, egal wann man das Kostbar besucht, es ist meistens voll.Eine gute Kombination von Einkaufen und es sich gut gehen lassen.
Val la Pena visitarlo e sicuramente adatto ad organizzare eventi speciali, servizio rapido e spartano, la spesa accettabilissima, all'interno uno shopping sui generis, oggettistica, liquori e specialità alimentari della linea Gourmet Berner.
