I'm speaking from the point of view of someone not restricted by any dietary guidelines. So, I eat non kosher foods most of the time. I was hesitant to try this kosher restaurant because I was worried the portions would be small, but I ordered the Gotham Burger and it was amazing: sweet, savory and just all around delectable. $8) It comes with a special sauce, caramelized onions, tomato, and lettuce on a sturdy bun. I also added a beef fry $2) which is a way of frying beef so it tastes like bacon for those who don't consume pork). For someone who has had bacon, it was pretty darn close it had the flavor but obviously lacks some of the textural qualities of bacon, such as the fatty portions). Honestly, if you were wondering about trying this place, give it a chance. It's just unbelievable. I want to try the shakes and onion rings too...because if they can make a burger this awesome, I bet the rest of their items are top notch. update: onion rings a bit bland, but made very well. The shakes are creamy, sweet and absolutely wonderful. The fries are thick and chewy and taste better than the onion rings. The veggie burger is phenomenal I've actually ordered that as much as the beef burgers. The chicken sandwich is huge. I don't care for all the seeds on the bread but the chicken and toppings were delicious. I'll probably stick to just ordering shakes and either the beef or veggie burgers with beef fry. The marinated mushrooms have a strong taste and are worth trying. I haven't had the chili yet, nor the mousse or peanut butter pie. The apple pie's crust tasted stale to me. I didn't like it.
