Golden Fu Wah - Table reservation

Golden Fu Wah is consistently the best Chinese and Chinese-American in the county. I have never been disappointed by my experience here, and I am often impressed by the quality of the ingredients used to prepare dishes. On our most recent visit, we ordered orange chicken with broccoli, vegetable chow nein, and hot sour soup. The chicken was tender and moist with sauce that was flavorful but not overly sweet. I could tell that real orange peel zest had been used to flavor the sauce, not just sugar like budget places. The soup was perfect. Just the right consistency, not too watery or too thick. The spice hits on the first spoonful, and it stays with you without detracting from the flavor of the dish. I highly recommend Golden Fu Wah for a big lunch or a ... well, a big dinner, too. The portions are generous, and even though I'm a big eater, I always have leftovers. Be sure to ask for Sing if you call to place an order. She is super friendly, attentive, and always eager to make sure that customers feel welcome.
