I eat here when I'm in greenwich because it's so cheap and good! their aale are great, both in the sauce, and in the cake, maic and peas combo is quite large. I have tried 4 of their cakes and must say that although they are not the best cakes in london, they are a square meal for under £8! go to the lamb and rosmarin cake. if you still have space or have someone to share, their dessert crumbs are also great!

The only reason this got a 4 and not full stars is because the super efficient way of ordering sort of makes you feel like your holding up the line. That said, it's cheap, staff is friendly, food is delicious and there's seating all over, all indoor. I recommend this highly, but if like me you have the social anxiety thing goin on, don't go during lunch hour.

Such a charming place. Homely and warm atmosphere, staff that makes you feel like family Tons of traditional pies with mash on the menu and more. You are not going to leave hungry. I had a Vegetarian option they have (they have 2 vegetarian pies! With liqueur sauce and gravy. It was great. The rhuburb crumble with custard was amazing. Highly recommended

- quaint pie shop. goddard’s is a classic old English pub like pie eater, where there is a lot of cake fillings, aromen and spices. I had the classic steak and ale cake with maic, which I would give a 6.5/10, as what left it mainly down, that was baked, that was not as flaky as I hoped. all in all was a satisfactory meal and would eat there again!
