Wife was at the hospital, I was getting food she could nosh the second she was out. Went in before noon 4 different bagels first time at this location. Plain, blueberry, Everything with cream and a parmesan w\egg cheese all bagels were too hard. Plain heated at home wasn't a fix. Blueberry was flavorless but tolerable for a woman coming off sedation. Everything bagel was too salty, hardness made make making small bites impossible spilling schmear easily. Parm w\egg cheese was hardest of the bunch and while real cheese on the egg was a nice touch it was lost on the toughness to eat. Really seemed like at least, day old bagels. Never coming back. It was served timely and politely by nice people.
Oh my god I have SO many complaints. This was the worst experience and bagel I’ve ever had. We waited 40 minutes. FOURTY!!! The amount of cream cheese on the bagel was pathetic, they didn’t toast our bagels, and after waiting 40 minutes, my husbands egg and cheese bagel was missing the egg. It was just cheese. What the hell? The bagels were absolutely disgusting. The staff was incompetent and extremely slow. And to top it off, their “jalapeño cheddar cream cheese” is literally squeazy “easy cheese” with jalapeños in it. Go literally anywhere else.
Really good bagels and bagel sandwiches, but the past few times coming here they are super slow and the customer service has taken a big step backwards. Will keep going for now since the food is good, but even online ordering ahead is regularly 15 minutes past what the estimated time is. Then they don’t bother to call out names for online orders when numerous people are sitting around waiting when it’s not busy at all.
With food prices rising everywhere, I’m convinced Gibs have actually lowered theirs! I love getting a bagel schmear with a hot coffee in mere minutes. Always fresh, always smiling faces greeting you.
