Gasthof Juraschenke

Samstagabend verabredete sich mein Vater mit Arbeitskollegen zum T Bone Steak Essen in der Juraschenke in Oberlangheim. T Bone Steak steht dort normalerweise nicht auf der Karte. Es ist also sozusagen ein Event, das von Zeit zu Zeit immer mal wieder stattfindet. Da mein Vater weiß, dass ich gerne gute Steakportionen esse, fragte er mich, ob ich nicht Lust hätte, mitzugehen. Spontan sagte ich zu. Es wurde reserviert, was auch dringend notwendig war. Um 19 Uhr war kein Platz mehr frei.     Lage/Ambiente und Sauberkeit Der Gasthof Juraschenke liegt in der kleinen Ortschaft Oberlangheim  östlich von Lichtenfels und Bad Staffelstein. Direkt gegenüber befindet sich der Gasthof Zum Löwen . Mit Parkplätzen könnte es zu den Stoßzeiten etwas knapp werden. Allein vom ersten Eindruck her würde ich der Juraschenke den Vorzug vor dem Nachbarlokal geben, da das Gebäude der Juraschenke deutlich moderner und optisch ansprechender wirkt. Der gute äußere Eindruck setzt sich im Inneren fort. Der Raum, in dem wir saßen, war rustikal fränkisch eingerichtet, aber dennoch hell und freundlich. Die Dekoration hielt sich in Grenzen, das Ganze wirkte nicht überladen. Besonders schön fande ich den alten, verschlissenen Holzboden. Der Gastraum machte einen sehr, sehr sauberen Eindruck. Problematisch finde ich allerdings, dass die Toiletten im Hinterhof liegen und der Gast zum auf die Toilette gehen das Lokal verlassen muss. Gerade im Winter ist das bestimmt ziemlich unangenehm. Auch wirken die Toilettenräume ziemlich veraltet. Eine Renovierung wäre angebracht. Und: Die Pissoirs verlaufen ins Leere . Das vom Pissoir abgehende Rohr führt zum Boden, in eine Art Rinne. Naja, trotz dem Ärgernis mit den Toiletten, vier Sterne für das Ambiente und vier Sterne für die Sauberkeit.   Anmerkung: In Oberlangheim hat man kein Netz. Ich fände es schön wenn die Juraschenke für ihre Gäste W LAN zur Verfügung stellen würde. Ich hatte zum Beispiel das Problem, dass ich während des Besuches via WhatsApp meinen weiteren Abend planen wollte. Dies war dann natürlich nicht möglich.       Service   Der Service war überragend. Die zwei Damen, die uns bedienten waren im mittleren Alter und überaus freundlich, flott und immer präsent. Ohne dabei zu nerven oder aufdringlich zu sein. Man fühlte sich rund um wohl. Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr solch gutes Personal erlebt. Die Getränke (ich bestellte zweimal 0,4l Cola für jeweils 2,20 Euro kamen schnell. Die Biere (0,5l für 2,30 Euro wurden in Steinkrügen serviert. Diese sollten laut Bedienung einfach umgelegt werden, damit diese sehen kann, dass ein neues gewünscht wird. Das sagt schon einiges über die unkomplizierte Art der Belegschaft aus. Sogar der Koch ließ sich während des Essens blicken und fragte, ob alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit sei. Ich denke ich kann hier guten Gewissens viereinhalb Sterne für den Service vergeben. Den halben Stern ziehe ich ab, da nicht nach dem gewünschten Garpunkt für das Steak gefragt wurde.       Speisekarte Die Karte ist auf der Homepage einsehbar, in der Juraschenke selbst ist diese auf ein Brotzeitbrett geklemmt. Meiner Meinung nach eine schöne Idee. Auf ihr lassen sich hauptsächlich fränkische Bräten, Schnitzel und Steakvariationen finden. Außerdem noch Brotzeiten, ein paar Fischgerichte und ebenfalls ein paar vegetarische Gerichte. Nachspeisen gibt es eigentlich keine. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns lediglich Kaiserschmarrn oder Eis mit heißen Himbeeren angeboten. Den Kaiserschmarrn gibt es aber glaub ich meistens nicht.  Am Dienstagabend werden zusätzlich selbstgemachte Pizza und am Donnerstagabend ein fränkisches Büffet angeboten.       Das Essen Von unserer zehnköpfigen Gruppe bestellten acht Personen das T Bone Steak. Dieses kostete 35 Euro. Man erhielt dazu vorab einem Beilagensalat und konnte zwischen Pommes und Bratkartoffeln als Beilage wählen. Den Salat bestellte ich wie immer ab. Das Steak kam nach angemessener Wartezeit und war wirklich groß. Circa vier Zentimeter war das Fleisch hoch. Als der Koch später am Tisch vorbeikam, erwähnte er etwas von 800 Gramm. Ob sich das Gewicht auf mit oder ohne Knochen bezog, weiß ich leider nicht. Das T Bone Steak war ein Gedicht. Meines war an wirklich jeder Stelle perfekt medium, saftig und butterzart. Auf der Oberseite befand sich wunderbare, leicht schmelzende Kräuterbutter und grobkörniger Peffer. Am Rand eine dünne, knusprige Fettkruste. Alles in allem ein Gedicht. Auch die anderen waren rundum zufrieden. Ärgerlich war, dass unsere Steakmesser absolut stumpf waren. Man musste ziemlich am Steak herumsäbeln, was aber nicht an der Qualität des Fleisches lag. Die dazugereichte Portion Pommes bzw. Bratkartoffeln war ebenfalls sehr schmackhaft. Allerdings hätte beides ruhig eine Minute länger in der Fritteuse bzw. in der Pfanne bleiben dürfen. Gute vier Sterne für das Essen.       Preis Leistungs Verhältnis und Fazit Die Getränkepreise sind relativ preiswert, das T Bone Steak hat natürlich standesgemäß einen relativ hohen Preis. 35 Euro sind aber für Lichtenfelser Verhältnisse nicht gerade günstig. Aber Qualität hat nun mal seinen Preis. Von daher: Vier Sterne für das Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Schön hätte ich es gefunden, wenn mir für meinen abbestellten Beilagensalat fünfzig Cent oder ein Euro vom Gesamtpreis abgezogen worden wäre so wie es in den meisten anderen Lokalen üblich ist.   4 gerne wieder. Beim nächsten Mal aber wahrscheinlich eher ein Gericht aus der Standardkarte. Diese waren relativ günstig und sahen appettitanregend aus. Die Juraschenke hat Potential von mir auch viereinhalb oder gar fünf Sterne zu erhalten.   (1 – sicher nicht wieder, 2 – kaum wieder, 3 – wenn es sich ergibt wieder, 4 – gerne wieder, 5 – unbedingt wieder nach Küchenreise

On Saturday evening my father agreed with colleagues T Bone Steak Essen at the Juraschenke in Oberlangheim. T Bone Steak is usually not on the map. So it's an event that takes place from time to time. Since my father knows I want to eat good steak portions, he asked me if I didn't want to go with them. I used to say. It was reserved what was urgently necessary. There was no room left at 7:00. Location/Ambience and Cleanliness The Gasthof Juraschenke is located in the small village Oberlangheim east of Lichtenfels and Bad Staffelstein. Right opposite is the Gasthof Zum Löwen . With parking it could be a bit short at peak times. From the first impression I would give the Jurassician the privilege in front of the neighboring city, as the Jurassic building looks much more modern and visually appealing. The good external impression continues inside. The room where we sat was rustic Franconian, but nevertheless bright and friendly. Decoration kept within limits, the whole did not work overload. Especially beautiful I found the old, worn wooden floor. The guest room made a very, very clean impression. However, I find it problematic that the toilets are in the backyard and the guest must leave the place to go to the toilet. Especially in winter this is probably quite unpleasant. The toilet rooms seem pretty obsolete. Renovation would be appropriate. And: The Pissoirs run into the void. The pipe leaving the Pissoir leads to the ground, into some kind of gutters. Well, despite the problems with the toilets, four stars for the ambience and four stars for cleanliness. Note: In Oberlangheim you have no net. I think it would be nice if the lawnchenke W LAN would provide for their guests. For example, I had the problem that I wanted to plan my next evening while visiting WhatsApp. Of course it wasn't possible. Service The service was overwhelming. The two ladies who served us were in the Middle Ages and very friendly, fleeting and always present. Without being too nervous or intrusive. You felt comfortable. I haven't experienced such good personnel for a long time. The drinks (I ordered twice 0.4l of Cola for 2.20 euros each came fast. The beers (0.5l for 2.30 euros were served in stone boxes. These should be easily displaced after the operation so that they can see that a new one is desired. It says a lot about the uncomplicated type of labour. Even the cook had a look during the meal and asked if everything was to our satisfaction. I think I can give four and a half stars to the service. I'll take off half the star because he wasn't asked for the desired cooking point for the steak. Close menu The map is visible on the homepage, in the Jurassic itself it is clamped on a table. I think it's a nice idea. It is mainly possible to find Franconian books, carvings and steak variations. In addition, a few fish dishes and also a few vegetarian dishes. There are no desserts. On request we were offered only Kaiserschmarrn or ice cream with hot raspberries. But I don't believe the Kaiserschmarrn. On Tuesday evening a homemade pizza and a Franconian buffet are offered on Thursday evening. Eight people from our 10-person group ordered the T Bone Steak. It costs 35 euros. For this purpose, an additional salad was obtained and could choose between pumice and roast potatoes as a supplement. I ordered the salad as usual. Steak came after a reasonable waiting period and was really big. About four centimeters the meat was high. When the cook came to the table later, he mentioned about 800 grams. I don't know if the weight is related to or without bones. The T Bone Steak was a poem. My was really perfect in any place medium, juicy and butterfly. On the top was wonderful, slightly melting herbal butter and coarse-grained pepper. On the edge a thin, crispy fat crust. Everything in a poem. The others were also completely satisfied. It was annoying that our steak knives were absolutely blunt. They had to be thrown around the steak, which was not the quality of the meat. The addition of fries or roast potatoes was also very delicious. However, both should have stayed for one minute longer in the frit or in the pan. Good four stars for dinner. Price/performance ratio and conclusion The beverage prices are relatively inexpensive, the T Bone Steak naturally has a relatively high price. For light rocker conditions, however, 35 euros are not exactly favorable. But quality has its price. From this: Four stars for the price-performance ratio. I would have liked to find it if I had been deducted fifty cents or one euro from the total price for my debited additional salad, as is usual in most other places. 4 again. Next time, but probably a court from the standard card. These were relatively favorable and appealing. The law has the potential of me to get four and a half or even five stars. (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – when it returns, 4 – again happy, 5 – definitely back into the kitchen

Very nice Franconian restaurant with long family tradition. Super friendly staff. We had previously reserved by phone, otherwise it will probably be bad with place. As we have seen, the place was very well visited. The food, we were there for dinner, excellent, all freshly prepared. That's why even a little longer waiting time, but not excessively long. Very recommended.

We had a table reserved and were asked to sit on another table while we ate so that the senior manager can cover up for a celebration. We had reservations and were in the middle of food. The steak from the Franconian Angus Rind ordered in the cooking stage was completely raw inside. Apparently, the kitchen can only cook lumps. Conclusion: Once and never again.
