What a wonderful experience, from the moment we stepped on the terrace! We were greeted by the chef himself and sat in a lovely spot out front. As the menu was in German, we told Chef Ernst we trusted him and he made wonderful selections for us all. The seafood soup was divine and my four children said the weinerschnitzel was the best they'd had in all of northern Italy and Austria (perfectly breaded, very light and tasty). Others in our group had the venison - delicious, as was the local berry compote served with it....Chef's wine recommendations were wonderful, as well ... we went back for dinner the next night, that's how good ... Don't miss this delightful spot.
This was one of the best restaurants I've been to in germany/Austria. The chef waited on us himself and clearly took great pride in his food and restaurant. The place was so beautiful and cozy. The food was incredible and beautifully presented. The beer was wonderful. It was overall an amazing experience. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the salzburg region. Absolutely wonderful!

Essen vom feinsten, tolle Weinbegleitung vom Chef persönlich, und der Rahmen, im Freien geschützt von Sonne ist schon sehr angenehm! Sind jetzt schon mehrere Jahre hintereinander hier. Juli 2017 das nächste Mal!
