Gasthaus Walzer Pä. Fam. Lintner

we were often in krems and we like to eat local food when we travel. this was our first visit to the village inn walr and we came on recommendation of our friend from krems, and glad that we did it! the ambiente is...not posh, but somehow they expect to eat good. I strongly recommend booking their table in time as we arrived on Sunday afternoon, and the place was full! to the luck we had our reservation. the restaurant is big and the staff is very nice, christina was our waitress and she was fantastic! she helped us with a menu as there is no English version. for the starter we choose beef soup (bark soup), it was amazing – liquid gold with finely cut crepes accompanied instead of noodles. for the main course we ordered roasted gänse (martinigansl) prepared with traditional beside dishes red cabbage and cartoffel dumplings. gänse was crispy outside and tenderly in the inner excellent! portions are very large so that we could not taste desserts. on the menu of the village guesthouse waltz, you can choose between famous Austrian dresses such as white carvings, tafelspitz and apfelstrudel. I recommend dorfgasthaus roller the true gourmand and hedonists!

we have this restaurant of native recommened and we were not dissappointed. it is a very well managed restaurant with really helpful staff and it offers regional dishes after the season! Do not miss this opportunity when they are around.

Die für das Service zuständige Dame ist durchaus schnippisch im Ton, was schade ist. Auf höfliche Fragen kommen aussagen wie „lesen sie zuerst fertig in der Karte…“Sehr schade…Essen sehr gut!

Sehr freundlicher empfang, super menü herrliches selbstgemachtes cordon bleu, moderater preis, Fritattensuppe von mama, nicht aus der dose. Spitze!
