"Very tasty food, the best Indian in the city in any case, the portions make pleasure for more and I often wanted them to be a bit bigger. Unfortunately, the waiter is a little unfriendly and has an energetic effect even if it is not stressful, but it does not stop us from eating there! Prices are decent, not too expensive, not too cheap, you get something for your money. We recommend the Butter Chicken and the Mango Lassi!"

A friendly welcome from the entire staff and free choice. The interior looked well maintained, clean but also came out in the years. We didn't hesitate long and sat in the fresh air. There can hardly be a better situation than this! At least in summer, it's just fantastically beautiful at Wakenitz. Gandhi has 3 big plus points in our eyes! 1. At this beautiful location you will also have a large outdoor terrace with direct views of the water, the boats and the idyllic opposite shore! 2. they have opened from 11.30 p.m. every day! 3. they have a lunch table with reasonably priced dishes that change every 2 weeks. Unfortunately spoke to us about the current (cheap lunch card nothing andie dishes on the normal card were priced quite expensive, but it was worth it! So we chose a mixed salad with homemade cheese on the way. Very delicious, fresh and slightly Indian. As a main dish, the Chicken Curry talked to us most ( chicken breast fillet in Curry cream sauce and all again with duck : Our food was kept warm by the small golden heat tanks. Both the rice and the meat and the (richly available sauce .... everything was very delicious! For this we chose Achar (inlaid sharp Indian supplements Hmmdas was not so much our case. The sharpness was pleasant but the taste was too peculiar; Conclusion: We come back! Preferred in good weather. Friendly service, nice restaurant, great location, delicious food and the servings were just right. The prices are not just small... but if the food is right, it's okay for us.

Wheelchair drivers should avoid this restaurant, the steep staircase is an insurmountable obstacle. We made the ascent and don't know what's going on. I am not sure if I would call my restaurant `Gandhi`, the small nickel glasses nightwear as a gallion figure for a dining room that is already dared. Let's see if the courts here are worthy of the great name. It looks tidy at this place, hardly anything remembers the Asian country at the first moment. The welcome is friendly, a table in the window is so many, still free and we get the menu with the typical local offer. The view is pleasant, the Wakenitz and the opposite shore also fall this season. Alsbald is dressed, drinks are served quickly, here there is tea and that is quite manipulable, then salad that is not so. The main courts we normally ordered were more than sufficient. We liked the size of the portion, my lamb has tasted quite well, the meat was unfortunately not very tender. The chicken was OK. A dessert was unnecessary, the degree of saturation did not read any more food. Soon I'll be the cheap Mo-Fr. Lunch offer in sight, maybe in summer, then you can eat outside.

I've always been tempted by an Indian, but I've never trusted. Now it was time and a friend and I wanted to try the lunch table here at Ghandi. The greeting was very friendly and we had a table on the huge terrace, with a fatastic view to Wakenitz. The maps came immediately and my girlfriend ordered something like Kardi Paneer (Ind. Cheese, gebr. Parika, onions, fried paprika and casheenus sauce) and since I have no tendency to vegetarian food, something from the lunch table with duck and other treats. At least for me there was a small snack with curry and vegetables and she ordered 2 pieces ind. Kichererbsenchips with Tamarin sauce also called Pappadam. The rest then came very fast, was deliciously dressed and tasted more than just excellent. My portion was very neat with € 8.90 and made me come to the conclusion that I must go again.

We're not coming back... An Indian atmosphere does not come up. We had three appetizers and four main dishes. Appetizers and main dishes were delicious, but we could have eaten the food at home on the sofa and so it was nothing special. But the service was the real reason we wouldn't get out. We had to wait a long time before we could order, and between no one came to ask if we still want something. When a lady came, she asked if everything was fine as soon as she asked (mouth was full) she was gone again. After our drinks were empty for about 15 minutes, we have to actively pay the service. The division of the bill into two was also a big problem. All in all, it was too expensive for what we have.
