Galileo's Restaurant

we made a break to dinner at this place and first sat outside on one of the few free tables. it looked like there were many regulars as everyone seemed to know each other. almost every table there was smoker and since my daughter hates eating, we have checked whether the interior of the restaurant is a better solution. strangely, there were smokers there, so we decided to stay outside. we decided to have carved cordon bleu and I ordered züricher schnetzeltes mit Latezle. the salads were served first and I must say that both dressing options were great. I liked the French a little better than the Italians. meat was also good, although I found that the carvings could have been a bit crispy. Although my court tasted me, I would have eaten the dish with rösti instead of late zle, but that is naturally a taste. the portion size is more than generous; after the already great salates, none of us could eat his teller. I would have been staring for service and eating, but the number of smokers around us has led me to forgive three stars

I was working in basel, but lived on the cheaper side of the border because on the Rhine. the hotel owner/manager suggested a few places, and galileo’s was underneath. I went in and was greeted by the restaurant owner / chef, a waitress, who were both very nice despite limited English. it seemed to be an average night, with a smoker area around the bar that was closed by a non-smoking dining area. the people came later in the evening, so I had the pleasure of being there early. I had casual South German eating, consisting of a mixed salad as a supplement, with a kind of cream sauce late zle (my first time). it tasted very good. total for a bottle of sprudelwasser, main coffee, the bill came to eur incl. mwst. I would definitely look over again if I were in the opposite

very good selection of bark and meat dishes. last Friday the fish plate with spaghetti, with salat (you can also get a suppe as an appetizer). it was fine and tasty, with salad for! excellent! I will be back very soon

Last time we were there, I and my friends got a food poisoning from all of us ordered steak with pommes. never return to the place

this is usually not the place I would run past on the road. honestly we have this restaurant thanks
