We went for lunch on a Friday; after shopping. There was a long line-up to place our orders, as the person at the second till left her station! I chose the Special, which was Fish and Chips with a soft drink, my friend chose the crispy Chicken Salad. We found the restaurant to be very noisy, precluding conversation. My food was hot! The metal plate on which it was served, even hotter!!! (I had to carry it across a large room, evading excited munchkins as I did so!) The portions were very generous. The serving station was disorganized, two containers of flatware had not been restocked, (but one of the busboys did bring the knives over to me later). I never did find the salt and pepper! It was great for kids; they were everywhere. Washrooms were very modern, clean, with easy wheelchair access.
This restaurant is extremely handicapped friendly with many more tables than booths. Our meals were prepared in a timely fashion and the condiment area was much more than one would see in other similar type restaurants. This location also has the new fountain drink dispensers that allow one to add different flavors to every soda. Many types to try and so little time... I'll have to go back.
I remember the old Fuddruckers we had in Regina, with the huge salad bar and fixings table, this has nothing like that. Yes there are different kinds of things like a chicken burger, veggie burger, bison burger but watch they don't all come with fries and the fries are not that great. The atmosphere is not welcoming, like a lunch room. For me I wasn't impressed and won't go again.
Tasty and affordable for a whole family. Numerous offerings and the condiment / toppings bar is great for customizing your meal. Would have been a 5 star , but one burger was undercooked and a bit pink. Full kudos to the manger though as he offered up a new burger and a $25 gift certificate right away ! That's a good manager !
