Frida Mexican Cuisine Cerritos

First off If I’m going to pay for a margarita, I’m expecting a drink made with natural fresh ingredients and not syrups. My husband ordered a beer, when the server brought it to the table it was a bottled beer, no glass and to make it even worse she didn’t even bother to open the bottle. We had to sit there until we flagged the hostess down. We decided to get the check and leave rather than sit there and have to go through this all evening. We will not be going back

First time at Frida. They are trying to be upscale in decor and ambiance. The prices are higher than most Mexican restaurants we frequent in LA. Unfortunately the food was mediocre. Portions small I guess to reflect an upscale gourmet restaurant. Server forgot to bring chips. Server forgot my beer order. Had to ask server for utensils .... Not at upscale at all

Food is ALWAYS great. Service varies from decent to Great. The beverages could really use some improvement. They have a full bar but the drinks are not consistent. Sometimes too strong and sometimes beyond bland. This evening they were bland. We go there for the food which never disappoints but would really love to pair it up with some nice drinks

great bartender!!!! cute place....feels fun inside. I felt the prices were medHigh. but..biggest concern: SALT. they like Salt. everything was super salty.had to detox the next day. giggle. my feet were huge
