Freihaus Brenner is a truly wonderful experience. We are visiting on a regular basis, winter time as well as summer time.Never been disappointed is the least I can say. The quality is consistently excellent, the food well chosen according to the time of the year and when you get a nice table outside during the warmer months you have a breath taking view over lake Tegernsee. The staff is professional and always friendly. This place has class but also calmness around it and is suited for a dinner for two as well as a bigger gathering with friends or family. It is 100% Tegernsee.

I go here since nearly 20 years. Quality constant and always above average, but never brilliant. A lot of old fashioned dishes on the menu like Kalbshaxe and Forelle Blau.Very lovely view over the lake. Not suitable for socially insecure visitors. The typical customers are social upstarts with black Cayennes, and she wearing a LV bag, or shabby-looking old rich.

Excellent food. Went with large group of colleagues from work. Everyone was very pleased with the food, menu, setting, and service. I shared the lamb chops - they were excellent. Beautiful venue overlooking the lake. Look forward to returning with my family.

We've been told it's a wonderful place, but what we feel that's more than wonderful!, really, nice view of the lake from the top, delicious food, smiley service.
