Fouberts - Table reservation

It was around 10pm on Monday night and we couldn't find anywhere to eat as everywhere had closed earlier. We headed to the tube station as we'd given up and decided to go back to the hotel, but saw Fouberts was still lit. We asked if they were still open and were welcomed in and shown to a table. The food was amazing and real Italian! It's a lovely old-fashioned place and was a bit like stepping back in time. The service was very friendly. The ice-cream at the front counter looked absolutely amazing but I was so full of pizza and wine that I couldn't have any. Much better than the nearby pizza chains. I'll definitely return next time I'm in the area!

Passed by here on our way to our hotel so called in on the off chance that there was a table available. I had a pizza which was very good, the portion of spaghetti was huge for my husband and the beef stew was a good portion too for another family member. The hosts were very friendly and a lovely family business.

We went there some days ago and we had dinner with pizzas. The girl's service was kind and professional. The pizzas were quite good but I have to inform you, future guests, that they will throw you out as soon as you finish to eat. Even if there are not any other customer waiting.

We had a light lunch on a quiet weekday. Service was quick and efficient. We ordered the soup of day (minestrone) and the special lunch (chicken/whisky pâté with brown toast); and their delicious home-made apple pie and double scoop of ice cream. We will back soon!

I was feeling nostalgic so went here for ice cream. The man serving was so sweet and let me try loads of flavours. I settled for tutti Fruitti thinking of my mum
