I've come to or ordered from Fonta's on off for over 20 years, but this was the first time I ordered something other than pizza, and boy! am I glad I did! This was probably the best gyro I've ever had, and I really appreciated that they put the tzatziki sauce on the side (when other restaurants put a ton of it on the gyro, it way too messy)! My wife our friend both had calzones agreed that it was even better than Roma! Update: Just went in again the other day and got a pepperoni calzone, which was at least as good as Roma. It seemed a little small compared to my friend's, but I didn't say anything. However, one of the staff also noticed. I don't know if it was our server or the manager who noticed, but without any prompting from my part, the manager came to me and said he was making me another one complimentary. I had to wait until the next night to enjoy that one, but I was extremely pleasantly surprised to find the new one absolutely packed with pepperoni! I'm really impressed by Fonta's attention to detail and their exceptional customer service! Only problem was I had to do a few extra miles on the exercise bike to burn it off, but totally worth it!
The first time in Fonta's Pizza Restaurant. Tonight we ordered 2 gluten-free pizzas for execution. We ordered their American pizza gluten free, which consists of sourcing, Pepperoni Mushrooms... as we enjoy jalapeños, we ordered them as extra topping. We also ordered another gluten-free pizza called Roman, consisting of Sausage Pepperoni, but I wanted 2 more beats, so I got pineapple onions... Oh, my God, we are very impressed! These pizzas are fantastic. The crust size is 14 inches it was chewing amazing. It reminded us how regular pizza crust tastes, but for us that was better. Due to our food allergies we had to get gluten free, we were not disappointed. From all the restaurants we have eaten here in Greeley, Colorado, this is our new favorites. I wish we had found this place earlier! But we will definitely order from Fonta again. If you are looking for a delicious gluten free pizza, don't look anymore. If I could choose 10 stars, I would! Yeah, that's good! And we are picky gluten free eaters...
Love the antipasto salad, the pizza and the gros! These are the only things we always get as a family. I'm sure everything else tastes just as good. I like talking to the owner. He's a very nice man. Everyone is friendly there. This restaurant has been in Greeley for decades. I moved to Fontas Pizza in 1981. It has now survived a few recessions and pandemic. That says everything.
All right! I and my family love this place! Always enjoyed her pizza. The crust is so good. I made it a tradition to have Fonta's for your birthday now! Your pizza is so good and so is the sauce. I love it! It's my favorite pizza ever!!!
