I really wanted to like this place but my couple of hours spent here were a bit less than ideal. I went with a few other moms for a relaxing mom's day out at the pool. The weekend single person admission was $20. Despite getting to the pool an hour after opening, there weren't any open chairs, which is understandable for a weekend, but it didn't make it much more comfortable for me. The pool was crowded but with how hot it was, that totally makes sense. The biggest disappointment (as a pregnant woman especially) is the fact that the salad that I ordered for lunch took over minutes to be prepared despite it being just lettuce, onion and tomatoes, and when it finally was ready, it had cheese on it after I had requested that it come without it. I follow a strict vegan diet, and this was basically the only item on the menu that I could order. My friends that I came with couldn't even order food at all because the kitchen got so backed up that it closed. I left disappointed and hungry, and I probably won't be back. Giving 2 stars because the woman who took my money at the front gate and the guys at the snack stand were nice, even as they had to refund my food order.
We 're here for great outdoor concert by one of our favorite bands Don 't Call Me Francis . Easy parking, and outside band on a slight incline. $5 each for drinks, bring your own chairs Two food trucks had snacks and other dinner menus. Looks great in the summer to be in the pool and watch the planes take off Everyone had to wear a mask around the area and there was hand sanitizer. Neat place!!
Attended a bridal shower hosted at this location. They have a nice pool area, restaurant cash bar) and you are able to see the planes land take off. Overall a nice place to host an event although it's not a secluded area); ppl were walking around from the pool to the bar. The place was busy, cleanly and in a beautiful location.
I have always loved the Flying W, but I am even more stoked on it now. They are doing an awesome job of keeping crowds down during covid. Their food is bomb for a pool snack bar and the drinks are delish and strong. We had a great family day at the pool and felt super safe.
