Flying Pig Tavern Tap

This place is a hybrid restaurant/bar. The upstairs is more like a restaurant (although there is a bar) and the downstairs is more like a bar (where the band plays). The entire restaurant and parking lot were packed when we arrived at 7pm. BEWARE: when the main lot is full the overflow lot is not paved and full of potholes. The food was decent enough and the menu should have something for everyone. There were 20 draft beers on tap. My Guinness was a traditional pint, but all the others are 10 oz which I have honestly never seen for lower alcohol beers. That size (or even less) is usually for the 8 12% beers. That was a bit surprising. The band started playing about 930pm pretty much traditional rock which was fun, but the vocals (pitchy would be an understatement) were cringey. I had never been here so it was fun to see something new and it was an enjoyable evening.

Went here at around 9:00 pm on a Saturday night. Despite being quite busy the service was good. I enjoy the Walforf Salad and it did not disappoint. A band started shortly after we arrived. It was really good but too loud for my tastes. Overall a worthwhile place to grab a bite and drinks.

We went for our office unit lunch, 4 people. The service was top notch, and the food was delicious. We had the Buffalo cauliflower as an appetizer. Then folks either had a panini special, cheesesteak, specialty hamburger, or shrimp. All were very tasty and filling!

There to celebrate a 21st birthday. Our waiter was fantastic and food was good. Recommend amd we’ll definitely be back.

Great food and very nice atmosphere. We especially loved the bacon appetizer. We'll definitely be back!
