We really wanted to like this restaurant and we were so excited to have an oyster place close by. However, our experience was less than good. The host at the front of the house was observed by our party, to have words with servers in front of us and other customers on multiple occasions. Also, there was clearly some type of disaster happening in the kitchen as we observed the servers coming out of the kitchen each time looking as though they were about to break out into tears. The wait staff were clearly trying to do their very best under some unknown, stressful situation, but the kitchen was a nightmare, and our meal took almost 3 hours. The tuna, which should've been rare, was way over cooked, the oysters had shells in them, and the lobster eggroll did not have any lobster in it, that any of us could discern or locate. We watched multiple meals from multiple tables get sent back to the kitchen. We felt very badly for the servers who were trying so hard in what appeared to be a world of chaos, disorganization and kitchen errors.
I am a member in the upper floor in the cigar republic and we have waited to eat here, finally opened and we have made a reservation. I brought my father to eat. we ordered the calamari, octopus and the little cuffs in a white sauce. all delicious! said the waitress that we could bring spoons so that we could finish the white, wein-, butter- and garlic sauce from the muscheln! scallop entree with polenta and the bronzino I give him the Italian kiss! the bartender theny is a jewel he will put them with a cocktail directly, peter the owner is a gentleman and all server are great. the atmosphere and the work of art by perry milou is excellent! you have to get in to eat. put it on their lists. hot spot in conshy!
only a great place to dinate. crab cakes are the best I ever had. I had anointed the mail-changer who was a meal in itself. only tasty and paired with a crabcake can not be much better than that. brussels was done as they should be really tasteful and crispy. the burger is excellent. desserts all house made only a great place and has become a fav. in any case. back to the place!
Had a wonderful dinner the oysters were fresh and delicious, fish special was outstanding and if they have the homemade cheesecake on menu it is a MUST! The service was outstanding friendly and knowledgeable the wine and cocktails were perfect and appropriately paired for each course.
