Factory 51 - Table reservation

Disappointed! This was my 6th visit to Factory 51. I had only ever had drinks or coffee previously. Factory 51 is expensive.I was at Factory 51 with three of my colleagues. We are a locally based business and we were there for lunch with another individual from another business, so 5 of us in total. It was a cooler day in July 2017 and I think all of us were looking for something a little hearty and the lunch special Risotto was recommended by the waiter.$24 for a plate of Risotto on a cold day, I would think as a food establishment with plenty of local competition that you would take the opportunity to impress with a value laden meal. Four of us had the risotto and there was one hamburger meal.The serving was small at any price, but for $24 It was offensive, and I wasn't paying. The taste was also ordinary. I wouldn't eat here again unless forced by circumstance.

I live round the corner and have been for lunch and dinner a couple of times now and not only is the food always delicious but the service is always smiley and they really do go above and beyond! Last night we went there with the 3 of us and an 8 month old baby (always fun!) and the restaurant manager came over and scooped up the baby so Mama could eat, keeping him entertained long enough for that (and to ensure the diners around us didn't have to listen to a whinging baby). You don't get that kind of service very often! Will always be my go to Coorparoo spot and last night just cemented it!!

It was a cold afternoon when our party sat down to what we thought that the fast service was an indication of greatness to com Unfortunately, I noticed that the Cook behind the kitchen with no gloves on , kept on wiping his hands on his JeansThe steaks , fish and other meals were cold and not cooked to the way that we wanted.once we had stopped ordering drinks , our service disappeared

Arancini balls are the best. Get share platters with friends and it'll work out cheaper with more options. Convenient location for south siders but the area isn't ambient. The restaurant itself is beautiful. If it was more affordable it'd be out local, but instead it is our treat. Thanks for the always hospitable service :)

This restaurant for me is the right mix of good service, great food and really well priced. Relaxed atmosphere , love going here
