My wife and I had a superlative meal at L'Etable Gourmande which was beautifully presented and tasted sublime. The restaurant is friendly and informal and the price reasonable for an exceptional meal with beautifully matched wines that came alive when combined with the dishes. It was great to share a moment to understand the regional and local sources of the ingredients with Pierre after the meal. We stayed at their attached chalet so it was nice to just walk over the road after the meal.
Welcome by the warm and friendly staff, I enjoyed the comfort of my room, the quality of the meals and the beauty of the setting. Rates are more than correct given the benefits. I strongly recommend and will not fail to return to him during my next trip.
We eat very well. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Small negative point for the narrow rain bath and shower curtain (I have a preference for glass walls)
