Estevan - Table reservation

Estevan is clearly struggling, and it shows in the owner’s strained greeting and presence in the front of the house, and in the quality of the dishes, which were formerly excellent. The thin pozole broth had a delicious meaty flavor, but the dish was almost entirely broth. The Chimayo red sauce, ordered on enchiladas, seemed thinned out. The downstairs bar is currently closed bc of COVID, we think, so you walk up past a dark, empty space, and you still can’t get a liquor drink upstairs. We’re holding out hope that Estevan will survive and return to its culinary glory

Food very good. I know it’s not their fault, but there was a very loud table nearby that detracted from my dining experience. I couldn’t even hear what my husband was saying part of the time. The plants on the patio looked a little ragged for what one would expect for a top of the line restaurant

Food was extraordinary so delicious. Large selection of wine I had the chicken breaded in Panko and lemon garlic oil my husband got the lamb special we had ravioli for appetizer. Oh so good . The chef came out to greet us . Great efficient service

The owner greeted me and was kinda rude and asked me what I wanted... I said I had a reservation and he didn’t have a table for me so he wanted to put me at a table in the corner and was hot.... I left and went somewhere else...

We love this place. Food and service are always great. Ambience is wonderful and the location so close to the Plaza. We have eaten here many times and look forward to coming back
