Eneko - Table reservation

Unusual setting spacous, informal, almost next to motorway, modern 15 20 kms from Bilbao. We came by rental car after having spent a few hours on the road north of Bilbao, actually well recommended when going here anyway. We enjoyed lunch. After having visited quite a number of famous restaurants around the world, this is definitely one to add. Very creative cuisine, sometimes a bit 'technical ' but always functional and quite simply: delicious. One dish I still remember was the 'asparagus Irish coffee ', super flavours. Good service, great wine pairings with a few from next door Izagirre winery. Makes me curious for the Azurmendi, maybe next time!

Four of us booked and chose the tasting menu at lunchtime last week. The experience exceeded all expectations. The sleek modern restaurant, the kitchen and prep in full view, the smart, young attentive staff. Every course and attention to detail was fantastic. Everything delicious. Recommended wines perfect for the courses we had and very good value. We have all eaten at michelin star restaurants before and I can honestly say this was the best so far. Recommend it most highly!

Can’t fault this restaurant. The tasting menu is superb with balanced and delicious food. Every mouthful is to be savoured. Charming staff and excellent wine to accompany the meal. It is excellent value for a Michelin starred restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxing and you can watch the kitchen in operation from the tables. I cant mention a favourite dish as each course became my favourite as I tried it! Superb
