My wife and I are tired and hungry after we hike the Tannersville old railway lines. We planned dinner in the mill in Saurties, but decided to taste this sweet little Italian restaurant on the main train in Saurties and what a big decision it was... WOW!!! What a good food and service... Franco made us feel like family. The only mistake we made was to get the same dish (Hähnchen parm , it was OUTSTANDING but we couldn't find out what I would certainly have been another great selection from Franco's classic menu! The muted shells we had as an appetizer served in one of the best sauces I've ever had... Can't wait to go back!!! Oh yes... the Tiramasu! :
The intimate atmosphere friendly owners who take the time to see that you are happy that everything OK is one of the reasons why we return to this restaurant. The food here has never been disappointed. Thank you for making our visit a pleasant one!
So the place is a little outdated, who cares? The food is absolutely fantastic and the service is friendly and prompt. It's a family run business and they treat you like family as soon as you walk in. You won't be disappointed.
Very intimate setting, really nice for family and couples. The food is extremely impressive, service is great. It's worth it! Refills are not free, this is silly, but a little thing I suspect. TRY IT OUT!
